Driving Tip:

While driving along the SS 75 bis, you’ll reach a turn under a bridge. Take that turn, go under the bridge, and continue straight — don’t turn left. You’ll find TerraMia shortly after, on your left-hand side.

Flights & Car Rentals

The nearest international airport is Rome Fiumicino (FCO). For travelers within Europe, Perugia Airport is closer but has limited flight options.

Car rental is highly recommended.
You're in the heart of the Italian countryside, and public transport is limited. From Rome, the drive to Passignano takes about 2 hours, though traffic can add up to 40 minutes.

Pro tip:

Renting a car? Book in advance and consider joining Avis Preferred (or similar programs). It lets you skip long lines and go straight to pick up your car.

Alternatively, you can rent a car from Perugia if you're arriving there.

By Bus

There’s a direct FlixBus from Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) to Perugia – Piazza Partigiani.

From Perugia, you can rent a car or take a local bus to Passignano sul Trasimeno.
However, public transport in the area is limited, and we don’t recommend relying on local buses.

A taxi from Perugia to TerraMia costs around €50.
